When We Go
Bowland Forest Gliding Club is Active every Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday throughout the year. if you can find someone who is willing to drive then you can go! BFGC operate a first come, first serve basis. When you turn up you write your name on the list and that is the order to fly. With this in mind, a good time to leave Salford is 8.30am as it is about an hour drive. This will enable you to reach the club by 9.30 and also be high on the priority list to fly. You will be on the airfield almost all day but dont let that put you off as there will be everyone you traveled up with there aswell as the instructors so it has the makings of a good day all around.
When We Meet
SUGC have socials Monday nights from 7pm in Yours Bar, University House. These are open to anyone, members or not, and anyone that is interested in joining the club. some nights we will stay there all night, however our Social Sec is busy trying to arrange nights out at other venues, which will be meet up in Yours Bar first as normal then go for there, then anyone who doesnt want to go into town can still meet for a social.
