What

Our aim as a university club is to give people the opportunity to experiance the thrill and spark a passion for gliding as it is not an opportunity that presents itself every day. We want a car full to go gliding every day that Bowland Forest Gliding Club is active and fly. Even if weather circumstances mean that this is not possible there is still the opportunity to learn a lot from the club, for example meterology and basic principles of flight.

Aircraft

Bowland Forest Gliding club mainly operate the AS K-13, but they also have an AS K-21 and a variety of single seat gliders aswell including Astirs and K-8's.
